Dog Eat Dog [2001 feature film]

This little-known comedy thriller about London blaggers who mistakenly kidnap a top gangster's pooch, includes a rare shot of the original 1907 Leslie Green-designed "Euston" station building on the Hampstead Railway, now the Charing Cross branch of the Northern Line. There was a separate station for the City and South London Railway, which opened around the same time, and now forms the City branch of the Northern line. Both stations lasted only seven years, when access to both lines was provided directly from the mainline station, but only the HR building survives. The side of the station comprises the two arched bays visible on the left, the three on the right being the contemporary electricity sub-station. The former lift shafts are now used for ventilation purposes. Image 1
